These Mindful Moments booklets are a helpful Positive Education resource for any teacher wanting to include mindfulness-based practices in the classroom setting.
The use of mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) in schools is continuing to increase and there is an ever-growing body of research regarding their effectiveness. The research shows that practicing mindfulness leads to improved levels of wellbeing for teacher and the student.
This booklet is not a specific programme, but rather provides simple yet effective ideas and activities to enable you to integrate mindfulness into classrooms and educational environments.
The activities are creative and grounding, whilst offering an easy way to break up a lesson and allow students and teachers to build a connection whilst improving their sense of wellbeing.
